I'll be selling my 944 soon and moving on to another project. The leading thought at this point (which could easily change with the right opportunity) is to build a LS motor from scratch with all the right parts, then find a chassis. The leading contenders were the usual S13/14, FC RX7, or maybe an old 240/280Z, but then I saw this. Might need to look into an old Volvo.

Here's the story on Speedhunters: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Too bad you're not doing a Ford swap, since most of the Volvos are pretty easy swaps to Ford V8s. And especially if you stick with a T5 manual.

Although any V8 in a Volvo Wagon is the ultimate of awesomeness.
